The Heart of A Man

As we are approaching this much talked about spiritual evolutionary shift on the planet in the year 2012, men and women are undergoing many changes. Some of us are abandoning the traditional societal roles that previously afforded us false security and comfort. Many of us have experienced changes in our physical and mental health. Almost all areas of our lives have been touched by the great awakening that is predicted to come about within a few short years.

I invited Mel Brand as a guest on my show to talk about the Awakened Heart Phenomenon in men. Mel is a Kundalini Crisis counselor, spiritual mentor, healer, intuitive and co-owner of the Eagle Heart and Spirit Retreat Center. Mel also channels messages from his higher self "John". Mel and I discussed the awakened heart in men and all that entails to a man's physical and emotional body, spiritual evolution, work life and relationships. Mel was very instrumental in explaining ways men can identify when they are going through this evolution and how to use it to enhance all areas of their lives.

Keesha completed her Bachelors degree in Communications concentrating on business marketing & Media at Charter Oak State College , and her Coaching Core Competencies at Coach U in 2005. Keesha has helped hundreds of people reach their higher spiritual freedom and growth. She spent the majority of her professional life in the non profit sector. She developed an award-winning women's empowerment network of over 400 participants, the Healthy Divas, which spanned throughout the northeast tri-state area (Connecticut, New York & Massachusetts) the group has been replicated to serve the Hispanic populations, the Diva Sanas. She won thousands of dollars in grant funding, and had the privilege to work along side research scientists at Yale University School of Public Health and Epidemiology, co-authoring with them a Breast Cancer intervention research study for African American Women. . The study went onto win a poster presentation at the American Cancer Society Public Health convention in 2007. She has spent a year as a fellow for the Connecticut Health Foundation, which was a year long study of health disparities in the minority communities in the state of Connecticut.
